What do we do? Where do we go? The answer is for nobody to know. Where do we go? And What do we do? Where am I? And where are you? This could be heaven, could be earth, could be hell. Either way, I'm doing As well as I could without You around. I'm feeling sound

Dark Days 03:30
When you're young, Everything seems like magic. You grow older... Things get a bit more tragic. Dark days come for all. You've only got one call. Accept it as it comes to you, Or spend your time in blues. When you're young life seems magic. As you age It gets a bit more tragic... If you let it. if you allow it... It will consume you. So just stay true, Just stay "you."

Always 08:31
Where do we go from here? What do we do from here? It's always changing. It's always the same... It's always the same. It's always changing.

"It's beautiful outside" said the man at the bus stop. All I see is rot. All I see is... Its getting cold or hot ... Where does the time go? ... Where did you go? It's all I care to know. One day soon they'll have an answer. One day soon there'll be no cancer. Nothing to tear your heart; tear your love away. Tear you into pieces.

about

These songs came about in an odd way. I say “came about,” rather than “were written,” because I feel as if they wrote themselves. I got a hold of a zoom 8-tracker/digital beat-maker shortly after Thanksgiving of 2014. These songs were put together using the aforementioned 8-tracker, a Yamaha 76 key keyboard, a Line 6 digital delay/loop pedal, and a condenser microphone, over the course of three days. The focus was on doing everything “naturally.” That is to say, I didn’t prepare any music for these recordings ahead of time. All were written and recorded on the spot. Tracks 1-5 and 7-10 were multi-tracked. All sounds on them were made with the keyboard and delay pedal. Track 6 was recorded live using a smart phone, the keyboard, delay pedal, and beat-maker.

Interesting fact: my father was born 4 days before Laika was launched into space via Sputnik. I chose this name for a project when I was 15; sometimes it’s indiscernibly interesting to find history towards the things which appeal to you.
Thanks to everyone who is supportive of my work, and if you aren’t supportive of my work, thank you anyway. -Sean
