Where I am walking on a path of greens and grays and unmarked graves

to all the mask-less faces shouting in the street that Jesus saves

I try hard not to look around
There are some very sick minds
in small mid-western steel towns.

It's hard to blame a person for how they're raised,
even when they are lighting matches and the forest is all ablaze
singing
